Class Clowns 2020 - Warrnambool Heat

Following successful Class Clowns Heats in Warrnambool in 2018 and 2019, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is bringing it back in 2020! 

Class Clowns in a nationwide competition for students aged 14-18 who are, or could still be, enrolled in High School.  Heats are ran all over the country, with winners from each heat moving on to Preliminary, State Finals, and culminating in a National Final to be held during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2020.  Many Class Clowns Finalists have gone on to big things in the world of comedy, including Warrnambool's own Tom Ballard, Joel Creasey and Josh Thomas!

Class Clowns provides an opportunity for students who are interested in stand-up comedy to sit alongside an industry professional and take part in a workshop (4:30 - 6:30pm), before performing their comedy pieces in front of a live audience later that night (7:30 - 8:30).
